<p><em>   </em>Lothenbach Stables&#8217; Bearpath won his first stakes with a 3/4 length victory over Never on Sunday in the GIII Pan American Stakes at Gulfstream on March 27th, 2010.  The Dynaformer gelding out of Song n&#8217; Silk (Unbridled&#8217;s Song) went off unnoticed at 19-1 in the field of nine marathoners going 1 1/2 miles on the turf.</p>
<p>   With jockey Frederic Lenclud in the stirrups, Bearpath was never far from the pace before pulling away just inside the eighth. Bringing his winnings up to $184,630, this is the fourth win for the four year-old gelding.</p>
<p>   Chesapeake Farm is excited to cheer Bearpath on as he gears up for the GII Elkhorn Stakes at Keeneland on April 23rd.</p>

<p>   By Bluegrass Cat, the GI winning millionaire by Storm Cat who&#8217;s yearlings sold for upwards of $500,000, this colt will surely be one to look for in the ring next fall.</p>
