Chesapeake Farm, one of the leading breeding and sales operations in Central Kentucky, is proud to present it’s consignment for the 2009 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

   Chesapeake has catalogued six fillies and four colts for the upcoming fourteen day sale in Lexington, Kentucky, running from September 14th - 27th.  Including some of the top young sires at the time, such as Smart Strike, Speightstown, and Rock Hard Ten, Chesapeake Farm also offers the sister to multiple graded stakes winner Mayo on the Side, a Bluegrass Cat filly out of the Slew o’ Gold mare Slewveau as the first to enter the sales ring for our consignment.  Soon to follow our Bluegrass Cat through the ring, Chesapeake Farm will also be consigning one of only three of Hurricane Run’s first crop to enter the Keeneland September Sale.
