Fasig Tipton Florida Sale

Fasig-Tipton continues its half century tradition of two-year-olds in training sales in Florida when, on March 24, The Florida Sale will feature 157 selected juveniles at Adena Springs South, in Williston, near Ocala.

Adena Springs South is a state-of-the-art training center with facilities specifically dedicated to Thoroughbred auctions.  It has a one-mile dirt training oval, which means The Florida Sale is the only selected sale in the eastern United States where juveniles will work and breeze on a conventional dirt track.  The under-tack show will be held from 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21.

“The 2014 catalogue is up 15% in numbers over last year,” noted Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning, “and that growth expands the quality and choices for buyers looking for promising racing prospects.  Nine of the Top 10 stallions on the 2013 North American general sire list are represented in the sale, as well as the top three Freshman Sires of last year.

“A feature in the catalogue of past graded and group stakes-winning graduates shows success comes at many price levels.  Our consignors are offering at The Florida Sale what the buyers focus on – exceptional athletes with the pedigree to carry them to the top.”
